A non binary performer dances to the hardcore techno music, and its body gets soggy through the running time of the video. The dancing body keeps being interrupted by the sleek 3D renderings of burning hands, reptiles and fast track of garbage sorting circulation. The 3D rendered image brings uncanny feeling to the viewer because it’s too perfect. The ‘perfect’ images are usually processed to mimic the imperfection of things. While the ‘perfect’ images and ‘imperfect’ sweating bodies are overlapping, the fast flowing images question the borderline of technology and human.
논바이너리 퍼포머가 하드코어 테크노 음악에 맞춰 춤을 춘다. 영상이 진행될수록 그 몸은 점점 젖어가고, 춤추는 신체는 불타는 손, 파충류, 그리고 빠르게 순환하는 쓰레기 분류 시스템의 매끄러운 3D 렌더링 이미지들에 의해 반복적으로 방해받는다. 이 3D 렌더링 이미지는 너무 완벽하기 때문에 오히려 섬뜩한 감정을 불러일으킨다. ‘완벽한’ 이미지는 대개 사물의 불완전함을 모방하기 위해 가공된다. 이러한 ‘완벽한’ 이미지와 ‘불완전한’ 땀 흘리는 신체가 겹쳐질 때, 빠르게 흐르는 영상들은 기술과 인간 사이의 경계에 대해 질문을 던진다.
