Eunju Hong

Eunju Hong is an artist based in Germany and South Korea. She’s attracted to the technology in bigger term and the consequences when it becomes an organ of the society. This organ becomes a contamination, death drive, desire, and a letter from a daughter to her mom.  She interweaves fictional narratives using film, found footage, performance, installation.

Heavy magazine introduces contemporary south korean artists. I took part with a video work <Reversed Polarity>. This volume features 33 women artists including the artists from Vol.0, and the new works and interview which were made with the subject ‘The(An) Origin’.
